Our Promise

Warranty & Guarantee

If something we installed fails because of how we installed it, we come back and make it right. Here's exactly what's covered, in plain English.

The make-it-right promise

Every job leaves with two layers of protection: the manufacturer's parts warranty on what we install (Amarr doors, LiftMaster openers, Service Spring Corp springs) and our own workmanship guarantee on how we install it.

If something fails because of how we did the job (alignment, spring torque, opener programming, hardware seating) within the labor period, we come back and fix it at no labor charge. If a part we installed fails inside its parts warranty, the replacement part is free.

The lifetime spring upgrade

Springs are the hardest-working part of your door. Step up to the high-cycle pair, rated for 25,000+ door cycles, and the springs themselves are covered for life, with 3 years on the labor. Busy household, rental property, or you just want it fixed forever: this is the one to ask for.

What's not covered

  • Damage from accidents, misuse, or vehicle impact
  • Storms, lightning, flooding, and other acts of nature
  • Power surges to opener electronics (ask about the $35 surge protector at install)
  • Normal wear, cosmetic marks, and routine lubrication
  • Work altered by another company after our service

Doors manufactured before 2010 carry reduced coverage due to parts availability. We'll spell that out in writing at quote time, never after the fact.

Making a claim

No forms, no hoops

  1. Reach out

Call or text (256) RED-CLAY, or email service@redclaygarages.com. You talk to us, not a call center.

  2. Tell us what was done

Your service date and the work performed. The invoice, or a photo of it, works.

  3. We come back

Return visit on the schedule, typically within 48 business hours.

A $75 service call fee covers the trip. Covered work carries no labor charges beyond that.

The fine print, briefly. Warranty coverage applies to the original customer at the original service address, honored by Red Clay Garage Services LLC. The lifetime spring upgrade may transfer to a new homeowner on request at our discretion. If an issue falls outside coverage, we'll quote the fix before touching anything.
